This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by Vicharak Computers Pvt. Ltd. (“Vicharak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies to all Vicharak hardware products, including but not limited to AXON, Vaaman, Shrike, and related accessories (collectively, the “Products”).
This Warranty gives you specific rights under Indian law, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. These rights are in addition to, and not affected by, this Warranty.
- Vicharak warrants that the hardware components of the Products will be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of:
- One (1) year from the date of original retail purchase by the end user (“Warranty Period”).
- All official Vicharak accessories are covered by this Warranty, with the following terms:
- Six (6) months from the date of original retail purchase for accessories (excluding power adapters and PD cables).
- Power adapters, PD cables, and other consumable items are not covered by this Warranty.
If a covered defect arises and a valid claim is received by Vicharak within the applicable Warranty Period, Vicharak will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective Product at no charge using new or refurbished replacement parts, or
- Replace the defective Product with a new or refurbished unit of the same model (or, if unavailable, a unit of equivalent functionality), or
- Refund the purchase price paid, subject to return of the Product.
Repaired or replacement Products are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or for ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.
After expiry of the Warranty Period, if a Product develops a defect, Vicharak will provide paid repair services.
Charges may include:
- Cost of replacement parts,
- Labor/service fees, and
- Two-way shipping/handling charges.
All post-warranty service is subject to the availability of parts.
This Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or consumables (cables, power adapters, connectors, packaging, documentation).
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, exposure to liquid, fire, earthquake, or electrical surges.
- Damage caused by use of the Product outside the permitted or intended use described in official Vicharak documentation.
- Damage caused by third-party accessories, software, or unauthorized repairs/modifications.
- Software (including pre-installed or bundled software, operating systems, firmware, and applications).
To obtain warranty service, you must:
- Contact Vicharak Support at warrenty@vicharak.in with proof of purchase (tax invoice/GST invoice) and Product serial number.
- Follow the return/inspection instructions provided by Vicharak Support.
- Ship or deliver the Product in protective packaging to the service address provided by Vicharak.
Customers are responsible for shipping the Product to Vicharak. If the claim is approved, return shipping will be covered by Vicharak.
To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law:
- Vicharak’s liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund as described above.
- Vicharak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption.
Nothing in this Warranty excludes liability for death, personal injury, or property damage caused by Vicharak’s negligence, fraud, or wilful misconduct.
This Warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.
